Pastor David Blas currently serves as the pastor of Zion Lutheran Church, Glenbeulah, where he was installed on February 28, 2026. In addition to leading Zion, he serves as a missionary-at-large with the LCMS Sheboygan County Hispanic Outreach, ministering to the local Hispanic community through Spanish-language worship services and Bible studies.

Prior to his call to Zion, Pastor Blas served as associate pastor at Good Shepherd Lutheran Church, Sheboygan, from June 24, 2018, until February 28, 2026, where he led Spanish-language worship services and Bible studies and supported the congregation’s outreach to the Hispanic community.

Before coming to Sheboygan, Pastor Blas was a member of St. Paul Lutheran Church, Melrose Park, Illinois (2012–2014), where he served as a layperson and began his pre-seminary studies. In 2014, he joined Cross Lutheran Church, Yorkville, Illinois, assisting in the planting of a new Hispanic mission in Plano, Illinois.

Pastor Blas studied for the ministry at Concordia Seminary, St. Louis, Missouri, completing his vicarage at St. John Lutheran Church, Plymouth, Wisconsin. He holds a B.S. in Environmental Technology from the University of Puerto Rico in Aguadilla, a Bible Certificate from Moody Bible Institute, Chicago, and a Master of Arts from Concordia Seminary, St. Louis.

At Zion, Pastor Blas leads English-language worship services and Bible studies, while through the Hispanic Outreach, he continues to conduct Spanish-language services and Bible studies, guiding members in faith formation and community engagement.

He is married to Maria Blas, who serves part-time as a secretary for Hispanic Outreach at Good Shepherd. They are the parents of two sons: David, a teacher at St. Paul Lutheran Church, Sheboygan, and Danavid, who works at Master Gallery in Plymouth, Wisconsin, and serves as the director of the worship band for the Hispanic Ministry.
